Getting Through It Together: Parent OCD Support Group

Anxiety, Therapy

If you haven’t heard already, Palo Alto Therapy is organizing a virtual support group for parents of children with OCD. These sessions will be happening on the last Saturday of every month from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. via video conferencing.

The main goal of Getting Through It Together is for parents of children with OCD to connect, share struggles, success stories and support one another.

What You Will Gain from Participating

  • Support from other parents.

You can never have too many people on your team! Support groups are a great way to connect with other people going through what you are.

  • A place to share struggles and success stories.

Living with someone with OCD can be extremely challenging. Every challenge has an assortment of struggles and successes! This group is the perfect place to talk about your experiences and overall journey.

  • A community.

Do you ever feel like no one understands what you’re going through? We get it. If you don’t have any friends or family members who have children with OCD, it’s so easy to feel alone. But trust us when we tell you, you are not.

The Purpose of This Class

This support group will give you the opportunity to swap stories and gain insight from parents just like you. It’s not too late to sign up.
