Hope Son, AMFT
Hope works with children, teens, adults, and couples who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for something to finally feel different. She has particular experience supporting teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, school refusal, self-esteem challenges, and the pressures of academic stress. She also works with families dealing with behavioral difficulties, trauma, and life transitions.
In her work with couples, Hope helps partners understand each other more deeply and communicate more effectively. She supports couples in managing conflict, strengthening emotional connection, and rebuilding trust. For clients carrying heavier burdens including PTSD, self-harm, suicidal ideation, or grief and loss, Hope provides a grounded, compassionate space to process difficult experiences and build meaningful coping skills.
Hope draws on practical, skills-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients make real, measurable progress.
Outside of the office, Hope enjoys spending time with loved ones, organizing spaces, and helping prepare homemade meals. She may not be the chef of the household, but she proudly holds the title of sous chef to her husband.
