Amanda Stewart is a licensed therapist with over six years of experience helping teens and adults work through the challenges that are quietly making life harder than it needs to be. Her warm, empathetic style and genuine openness create a space where clients feel truly heard, and she believes that each person is the expert in their own life. Her job is to provide the insight and skills that help clients move toward the change they are ready for.

Amanda has particular depth in OCD, depression, and social anxiety, and works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, panic attacks, trauma, grief and loss, self-esteem challenges, isolation, health anxiety, and LGBTQIA+ and gender identity concerns. She also brings specialized experience working with clients on the Autism Spectrum, having spent time prior to her therapy career in Applied Behavior Analysis supporting children with Autism and their families.

Amanda’s approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build practical skills and make meaningful progress. She has clinical experience across non-profit agencies and school settings, giving her a grounded understanding of the real-world pressures teens and adults face.

Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling with an Emphasis on Child and Family Therapy from Palo Alto University.

When she is not working, Amanda enjoys reading, finding new walking trails across the Bay Area, and spending time with her cat.
