Lani believes healing happens when people feel genuinely understood. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and practical — helping clients make sense of their experiences while building the tools and confidence to navigate what life throws at them.

Lani works with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship difficulties, stress, self-esteem concerns, and the lasting effects of difficult life experiences. She understands that many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about where to begin. Her goal is to create a space where clients can slow down, make sense of their experiences, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Lani has extensive experience in community mental health, working closely with individuals and families navigating complex challenges across homes, schools, healthcare systems, and community settings. This has shaped her belief that people are incredibly resilient and that lasting growth occurs when therapy honors both a person’s strengths and the realities of their lived experience.

Lani’s style is compassionate, down-to-earth, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She integrates evidence-based approaches while recognizing that no two individuals are the same — whether clients are working through anxiety, relationship concerns, family conflict, major life transitions, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of themselves.

Lani earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco and pursues ongoing training to provide the highest quality care to the individuals and families she serves.
