Jacqui Lewis is a seasoned therapist with over 15 years of experience helping adults work through the challenges that are getting in the way of living a fuller, more balanced life. She brings a rare combination of clinical depth and creative approach to her work, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Board Certified Art Therapy to help clients make real, lasting progress.

Jacqui works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, panic attacks, phobias, social anxiety, grief, and trauma. She has particular expertise in OCD treatment, having completed advanced training through the International OCD Foundation and working extensively with adults whose OCD is significantly impacting their daily life, relationships, and work. For clients who have tried therapy before without success, Jacqui’s specialized training in ERP often makes the difference.

Her work with complex trauma is another area of deep specialization. Jacqui is an Advanced Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, one of a small number of therapists in the Bay Area with this level of training. She also worked with the San Francisco Veterans Administration using art therapy and evidence-based approaches to support psychological healing in those who have served, and received an award for Outstanding Research on how art therapy reduces stress symptoms in U.S. military veterans.

As a Board Certified Art Therapist, Jacqui integrates creative approaches with CBT theory in a way that is particularly effective for clients who find traditional talk therapy limiting. Art therapy is not about artistic ability. It is about using a different pathway to process and heal.

Outside of the office, Jacqui enjoys knitting, painting, hiking with her dog, and gardening.
