Deborah Brewer, LCSW – Clinic Director
Deborah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Palo Alto Therapy’s Clinical Director and works with children, teens and young adults to feel more in control of their lives. Deborah is a certified SPACE therapy provider, and has strong clinical skills to help with anxiety, OCD, family conflict, depression, ADHD and self-esteem issues.
Deborah received her Master’s Degree from Columbia University (summa cum laude) and has continually pursued training to provide her clients with the highest level of care. Her training includes certification as a SPACE provider from Yale University Child Study Center, Intensive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & TEAM therapy training by David Burns, M.D., trauma-focused CBT, child centered and prescriptive play therapy, Beck Institute CBT training in anxiety and depression. Deborah is licensed in California and New York and is available for in-person and video therapy appointments in Palo Alto.
Deborah grew up in Sydney, Australia savoring life on Bondi Beach until she met a tall American and fell in love. On the weekends she enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband.
