Question… Persuade… Refer…
QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer – three simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR can learn how to recognize the warning signs and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
What is QPR?
Each year an estimated 775,000 family members are impacted by the suicide attempt or death of a loved one. Countless others are concerned about suicide in their friends and loved ones. You can make a difference and possibly save a life.
