Meg is passionate about helping the individuals and families with whom she works and seeks to provide evidenced-based, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings, including a middle school counseling program, a college counseling center, and non-profit mental health service agencies. Her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental which supports insight and behavioral changes to help people achieve a sense of emotional well-being. She has a particular passion for working with young adults, but enjoys finding ways to help anyone that walks through our door.

Meg is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who completed her MSW at San Jose State University where she focused her coursework in the health and mental health field and earned a certification in Spanish language counseling.

She uses a variety of evidenced-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and motivational interviewing strategies to work with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, adjustment to life changes, trauma, and conflicts in personal or family relationships.

Meg has lived in four countries (the US, Argentina, Spain, and Germany), as well as four states (Ohio, Washington, Massachusetts, and California). She and her techy husband met because they both brought their puppies to the dog park, and now they enjoy exploring dog-friendly beaches together with their daughter and their three dogs.
