Alexa believes that life has its challenges for us all, and there is no reason to struggle through the difficult times on our own. Therapy is a safe and supportive environment that can help clients gain insight, alleviate pain, and ultimately experience a happier, freer life. Alexa values the therapeutic relationship and her connection with clients as this is a key ingredient in healing. Still, she understands that the work of therapy is a joined effortand the outcome will also be determined by clients’ motivation and willingness to self-explore.

Alexa is pre-licensed and has had two years of experience with adults, adolescents, and children with concerns including; life transitions, relationships, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, PTSD, family conflicts, sexual abuse, and self-esteem. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UCSC and her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. She is very passionate about this work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a firm believer in the power of evidence based therapy!

Alexa is equal parts homebody and adventurer. While she tries to travel as much as she can, she equally appreciates cozy nights in with a movieShe tries to live a healthy, active lifestyle—heading to the gym or going on hikes whenever the weather permits. She cherishes quality time with those she is close to, and particularly enjoys cooking for other people.
